Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 16 oz sour cream
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Lettuce
- Assorted toppings of choice: Fritos, olives, tomatoes, taco sauce, queso, salsa, etc.
Directions
Preheat Oven to 350°
- Spray a 9” pie plate with cooking spray and get crescent rolls and sour cream out of the fridge to warm up a little.
- In a large skillet cook, add ground beef and season with taco seasoning. Cook until browned; about 7-10 minutes.
- While beef is cooking made rice according to package directions.
- Drain grease from beef (if necessary) and set aside.
- Remove crescent rolls from packaging and gently shape them into the pie plate like a pie crust. (This doesn’t have to be perfect, just try to cover the bottom and sides as best you can. I often tear off pieces that overlap and use it to fill in any holes.)
- Spread rice in an even layer over top of crescent dough and then do the same with the beef.
- Spoon a layer of sour cream over top of the beef and then sprinkle a layer of cheddar cheese over top.
- Bake 20-25 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes. Serve with toppings of choice.
