Indoor Scavenger Hunt for Kids

How are you & your family handling social distancing? I’m sure a lot of you, like our family, are trying to find ways to stay entertained or to keep the kiddos busy. I’ve been coming up with resources for our family & thought maybe it would be beneficial to share these resources with all of you.

I’m going to be posting at least once a day with some sort of activity/idea/etc of things to do with your little ones or things you can do yourself.

Some ideas that I have so far are: indoor scavenger hunt, free online field trips/tours of museums, state parks, and aquariums, game ideas, recipes, etc. If you have any requests/ideas please feel free to comment, message us, or email us with your ideas! We’d love to hear them!

Today I thought I’d share the indoor scavenger hunt I designed for the kids. There are two options, one is pre-filled in for you & the other I’ve designed to be fill in the blank so you can print a few copies & have unlimited scavenging opportunities! Both copies offer 20+ items to find around your home.

Both copies are free to download; just enjoy!
We’d love to see our scavenger hunts in action so if please feel free to tag us or hashtag us (#cherishedcottage) on social media so we can see!

Stay tuned tomorrow for two other scavenger hunts plus some additional ideas/activities to keep the kiddos busy at home.

Stay safe & healthy everyone!

Cherished Cottage began as a dad who wanted to make sure his daughter’s had ornaments on their Christmas tree. As our family grew, we combined interests in crafts, cooking, and all things DIY to create our store and ultimately this blog!

We hope you enjoy following along as we share our passions with you.
